Andrew Lavigne
Director
Andrew Lavigne’s career began 20 years ago in the film and television industry as a Community TV Producer In Ottawa. In that time he has worked in various capacities of the business including Directing, Editing and Producing. From 1996-2007 Andrew worked in Vancouver on set as camera assistant (IATSE669). Working next to some of this generation’s best filmmakers and observing how stories were told inspired Andrew to begin telling his own. Since then andrewlavigne.com was created to showcase his various projects. Andrew is interested in the honesty and power of the human spirit, transforming ideas into visions, and creating pieces that are insightful and cinematic.

Jon Ornoy
Producer
Jon is a native of Toronto who currently resides and works in Vancouver. After attending the film programs at both Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto and the Vancouver Film School, Jon bucked the prevailing trend by actually working in the film industry after graduation. His nine year career as a camera assistant (IATSE669) found him working on all scales and genres of production and establishing extensive connections in the industry. Formed in 2007, Animal Mother Films, is an expression of Jon’s long-simmering need to pursue his own creative ideas, and desire to impact positive change on the world through film. AMF’s last production, the short documentary The Lunar Effect is currently playing the festival circuit.
